The balance of $_______ shall be paid in cash, USPS money order, paypal or personal check. Payment in full is required two weeks(16 days) after we receive the deposit. If your kitten/cat is to be shipped, payment in full is required 7 days prior to any shipping arrangements. a. (You) understands and agrees that your Furry Heavens kitten/cat will not be shipped out in unacceptable weather temperatures or conditions. b. (You) understands and agrees to telephone immediately upon receipt of your Furry Heavens kitten/cat to confirm that your Furry Heavens kitten/cat has arrived. If your Furry Heavens kitten/cat is to be picked up in person or delivered by Furry Heavens Cattery payment in full is required 72 hours prior to arrangements being made. Your Deposit is non-refundable if (You) changes his/her mind. Your Deposit will be returned if Furry Heavens Cattery is unable to place agreed upon Furry Heavens kitten/cat with (You). Furry Heavens Cattery retains the right to refuse sale of Furry Heavens kitten/cat for any reason at any time. In the event that this does happen all of your money will be refunded back to you in the form of a Furry Heavens Check issued within 7 days of refusal of sale. Refunds will be made by check only! No cash refunds! (You) agrees to the following: ~(You) must have your Furry Heavens kitten/cat examined by a licensed Veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase. At that time FIV/FELV testing must be done. If your Furry Heavens kitten/cat is not examined by a licensed Veterinarian and FIV/FELV testing is not done within 72 hours of purchase all Health Guarantees will be null and void~ ~Under NO circumstances will a Furry Heavens Kitten/Cat be sold, leased or given away to any pet shop or breeder. No Furry Heavens Kitten/Cat can be placed with another individual without the written permission of the Furry Heavens Cattery~ ~Your Furry Heavens kitten/cat will not be de-clawed! (You) has submitted a No Declawing Form and by doing so you have agreed to Furry Heavens No Declawing Policy~ ~Your Furry Heavens kitten/cat must have clean fresh water available at all times~ ~Your Furry Heavens kitten/cat will be kept indoors and not allowed to roam freely outside~ ~(You) agrees not to vaccinate against FIV/FELV and FIP. If (You) chooses to vaccinate for these conditions all Health Guarantees will be null and void~ ~(You) agrees to provide your Furry Heavens kitten/cat with a check up at least once a year by a licensed Veterinarian and to maintain your Furry Heavens kitten's/cat's health~ ~(You) agrees to complete the series of vaccinations on schedule and vaccinate for Rabies at six months of age~ ~Furry Heavens Cattery agrees to execute and deliver to (You) the Registration paperwork and/or Certificate of Registration conveying ownership of the above-described kitten/cat to (You) at the time (You) provides proof of Spay or Neuter in writing on company letterhead from Veterinarian. Furry Heavens Kittens sold as pets not spayed or neutered before sale must be spayed or neutered before the age of eight months. If your Furry Heavens kitten is not spayed or neutered by the age of eight months (You) will not receive Registraion paperwork and/or Certificate of Registration at that time or in the future~ ~Under no circumstances is your Furry Heavens kitten/cat to be destroyed prior to notification of Furry Heavens Cattery by (You). Basically, if anything terrible should happen to your Furry Heavens kitten/cat and something like this needs to be done, please let us know~ ~It is the responsibility of (You) to provide immediate Veterinary care to any Furry Heavens kitten/cat showing signs of illness or distress. Failure to do so will render any and all guarantees null and void~ ~(You) is responsible for all Veterinary related expenses once your Furry Heavens kitten/cat is released from Furry Heavens Cattery. This includes initial Veterinary exam, office visits, lab tests, vaccinations, medications, surgery or time off work, either at initial visit or for any future veterinary visits. No medical care is authorized by Furry Heavens Cattery. No medical care will be paid for by Furry Heavens Cattery~ ~By signing this contract, (you) is accepting these terms~ *This contract is legally binding to all parties involved. It applies to Furry Heavens Cattery and (You) in this transaction and is non-transferable to other parties* Health Guarantee ~Your Furry Heavens kitten/cat is guaranteed to be in excellent health at the time of purchase. Furry Heavens Cattery agrees to provide the first two kitten vaccinations prior to completion of sale. (Your) will be expected to provide any additional vaccinations or Veterinary costs that occur following the purchase of your Furry Heavens kitten/cat. Furry Heavens Cattery agrees to provide the first two wormings prior to completion of sale. (You) will be expected to provide any addtional wormings and all preventative health care for the healthy maintenence of you kitten/cat. If your Furry Heavens kitten/cat is found to be medically deficient, with an untreatable or life-threatening problem, such problem must be reported to Furry Heavens Cattery immediately (within 72 hours of you receiving notice). If a Veterinarian certifies that your Furry Heavens kitten/cat is medically deficient with an untreatable or life threatening disorder, then your Furry Heavens kitten/cat must be returned to Furry Heavens Cattery. Upon its return, the Furry Heavens kitten/cat will be replaced with another Furry Heavens kitten/cat equal value. If your Furry Heavens kitten/cat is returned and no replacement is available at the time of return, Furry Heavens Cattery will have 6 months to furnish a satisfactory replacement. Health Record. Your Furry Heavens kitten/cat has had age appropriate vaccination(s) and preventative worming(s), which have been documented in the health record paperwork provided to(You). Furry Heavens Cattery is not responsible for parasites or disease that your Furry Heavens kitten/cat may contract through transportation from Furry Heavens Cattery to the Purchaser's home. (You) understands and agrees that the one(1) year Health Guarantee and Lifetime Congenital Guarantee only applies to (You) named on page one of this Agreement. (You) understands and agrees that your Furry Heavens kitten/cat must be under the regular care of a Veterinarian. Your Furry Heavens kitten/cat cannot be returned if your Furry Heavens kitten/cat has been exposed to FIV/FELV, FIP, or Ringworm. Lifetime Congenital Guarantee *Furry Heavens is a FIV/FELV, FIP, and Ringworm tested Negative free Cattery. This Health Guarantee is for a congenital defect which is more commonly known as a birth defect. Most are present at or near birth. Furry Heavens Cattery guarantees against life-threatening congenital defects for the lifetime of the kitten/cat assuming Furry Heavens Cattery is still in business. This is a limited guarantee and Furry Heavens Cattery must be notified, in writing, when the congenital defect is first detected.* If a claim for any of the above-referenced congenital defects is made, written verification on company letterhead from a qualified, licensed Veterinarian must be provided to Furry Heavens Cattery with a description of your Furry Heavens kitten’s/cat's congenital defect and their opinion as to seriousness of the defect. Furry Heavens Cattery reserves the right to have your Furry Heavens kitten/cat re-inspected by our own Veterinarian for confirmation of the defect before replacing your Furry Heavens kitten/cat with a Furry Heavens kitten/cat of equal quality and value. In this event, your Furry Heavens kitten/cat will be replaced with a comparable replacement when one becomes available. Comparable replacement will be like sex,color, value and quality. (You) is solely responsible for any and all delivery and/or shipping related expenses. The Furry Heavens kitten/cat described in this Agreement does have to be returned to Furry Heavens Cattery in order for (You) to be able to make a claim for congenital defect and receive a replacement Furry Heavens kitten/cat. If your Furry Heavens kitten/cat is returned and no replacement is available at the time of return, Furry Heavens Cattery will have 6 months to furnish a satisfactory replacement. Under no circumstances will Furry Heavens Cattery be obligated to (You) for a cash refund or Veterinarian costs. Your Furry Heavens kitten/cat is guaranteed against congenital defects for it's LIFETIME. Should your Furry Heavens kitten/cat die within that time as a direct result of a Congenital Defect, your Furry Heavens kitten/cat will be replaced only if an appropriate autopsy is performed by a licensed Veterinarian and a Veterinarian's certificate with company letterhead is provided as proof of cause of death. A replacement Furry Heavens kitten/cat of comparable quality and value will be offered and our LIFETIME Congential Guarantee honored. (You) will be responsible for all shipping cost. Failure to have your Furry Heavens kitten/cat inspected by a certified Veterinarian, within 72 hours of delivery (3 business days) voids any and all health guarantees. (You) understands and agrees that the one(1) year Health Guarantee and Lifetime Congenital Guarantee only applies to (You) named on page one of this Agreement. (You) understands and agrees that your Furry Heavens kitten/cat must be under the regular care of a Veterinarian. Health Record. Your Furry Heavens kitten/cat has had age appropriate vaccination(s) and preventative worming(s), which have been documented in the health record paperwork provided to(You). Furry Heavens Cattery is not responsible for parasites or disease that your Furry Heavens kitten/cat may contract through transportation from Furry Heavens Cattery to (You) home. ~Administration of the FIP, FIV, or FELV vaccination will void all warranties. Your Furry Heavens kitten/cat cannot be returned if your Furry Heavens kitten/cat has been exposed to FIV/FELV, FIP, or Ringworm. *The Furry Heavens kitten/cat One Year Health Guarantee and Lifetime Congenital Defects Guarantee does NOT include minor nuisances such as fungus or Upper Respiratory Infections. A minor Upper Respiratory Infection or fungus can occur as a result of the stress of being relocated into a new home, and Furry Heavens Cattery cannot guarantee that this will not happen. However, to the best of our knowledge, none of these are present at the time of shipping/delivery/pickup. In addition, all Furry Heavens kittens/cats being shipped are vet checked by a licensed Veterinarian, and will receive a Veterinary certificate of health before being shipped stating that they are in good health at the time of shipping. Tips We feel it is important to isolate your new kitten for a few days to a week and give it time to adjust to the new environment before introducing other pets; and to imprint where his/her litter box will be kept, ideallywhere the box will permanently be kept. Moving to a new home can be stressful for the new kitten/cat and isolating them in their own room helps them to adjust to their new surroundings. Your Furry Heavens kitten/cat is accustomed to Purina One Kitten Food. It is recommended that this food is continued, but if a change is desired, to do so slowly. Changing food abruptly can cause intestinal problems and is not good for the health of your Furry Heavens kitten. Please do not give your Furry Heavens kitten/cat milk. kitties are lactose intolerant and giving your Furry Heavens kitten/cat milk WILL cause diarrhea. Kittens can enjoy a treat of KMR kitten milk (available at pet stores). Furry Heavens kittens/cats are accustomed to Arm and Hammer Super Scoop Litter and it is recommend to continue use with this type litter, or if a change is desired – to do so slowly. |
